Desktop Publishing & Design Experience

Owner Melany Hallam completed her desktop publishing and design training in 1995 in Vancouver.

In 1998, Melany moved to Powell River and began work as an independent designer. Maywood's clients include: Western Economic Diversification Canada, SEA E.S.L., the Potters Guild of British Columbia and Community Futures Powell River.See Maywood's portfolio pages for design samples.

Writing & Editing Experience

Melany also has a strong background in writing and editing. After receiving her Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University in 1990, she went on to write and edit a range of documents, including:
